The Slow Cyclist - Brochures
Designed and produced bespoke brochures and information packs for The Slow Cyclist, creating personalised digital packs tailored to each client’s upcoming or potential journey.
The Slow Cyclist offers exceptional, slow-paced cycling and walking adventures across Europe, Africa and beyond. Their trips are personal, curated, and crafted with care—so their printed and digital materials needed to reflect the same level of attention and detail.
Working closely with the team, we designed a flexible brochure system that allowed them to generate beautifully presented, customised packs for each traveller. These included detailed itineraries, route overviews, accommodation information, trip highlights, packing guidance, and practical notes; presented in a clear, warm and engaging format consistent with their brand.
Each brochure was assembled specifically for the individual or group, ensuring that potential guests received a tailored introduction to the journey they were considering, while confirmed guests received a customised pack ahead of their trip.
Design & Implementation
Key aspects of the work included:
- Developing a modular layout system suitable for a wide range of trip types
- Creating flexible templates that allowed the team to assemble personalised content quickly
- Incorporating brand typography, colours, photography, and editorial tone
- Ensuring clarity, legibility and a premium feel across both digital and print exports
- Designing components for itineraries, maps, accommodation profiles, and travel notes
- Supporting the team with production workflows to maintain consistency across customised documents
The result was a design approach that balanced high-quality presentation with everyday usability for the team producing materials.
Outcome
The new brochure system allows The Slow Cyclist to deliver beautifully designed, personalised packs for every trip inquiry or booking. These tailored documents help set the tone for the experience, strengthen the brand’s premium positioning, and provide travellers with clear, engaging information before their journey begins.
